Self-Regulating Heating Element
Dekoron 2700 Series self-regulating heating elements change cable heat output in
response to changes in ambient temperature. The conductive core increases its heat
output as the ambient temperature falls, decreasing output as the temperature rises.
Heating element is available with either tinned copper or stainless steel braid. For use
in hazardous areas. |

2300 Series (2305, 2310, 2315)
Self-Regulating Heating Element
Dekoron 2300 Series self-regulating heating elements increase or decrease heat output as ambient temperatures fall or rise, and will maintain pipe temperatures up to 250°F (120°C). Series 2300 cable withstands 150 psig saturated steam purging at 366°F (185°C). For hazardous areas, Series 2300 heating elements are available with stainless steel overshield to provide mechanical protection in mildly corrosive atmospheres, or tinned copper overshield with fluoropolymer jacket where cables are exposed to organic chemicals or harsh corrosives. |

Commercial Grade, Self-Regulating Heating Element
Dekoron 2800 Series self-regulating heaters provide freeze protection for a range of
commercial piping applications including: small diameter metal piping (heating element
2803, 3 watts/foot 120V), large diameter pipes and long circuit lengths (heating
element 2806, 6 watts/foot, 120 or 240V versions); and non-metallic piping where
an overall grounded metal covering is required (heating element 2805,
5 watts/foot, 120V). |

2000 Series (2005, 2210, 2015, 2020, 2025, 2030)
Self-Regulating Heating Element
Dekoron 2000 Series self-regulating heating elements increase or decrease heat
output as ambient temperatures fall or rise, and will maintain pipe temperatures up
to 375°F (190°C). Series 2000 cable withstands 190 psig saturated steam
purging at 475°F (250°C). For hazardous areas, Series 2000 heating elements are
available with stainless steel overshield to provide mechanical protection in mildly
corrosive atmospheres, or tinned copper overshield with high temperature
fluoropolymer jacket where cables are exposed to organic chemicals or harsh
corrosives. |

Electric Connections
Kits are available for making connections,
splices and terminations. Instructions are
included with each kit. |

Thermostats
Both ambient and line sensing thermostats
are available for dependable, accurate
heater control. Explosion-proof and
weatherproof units, housed in lightweight,
die-cast enclosures with
calibrated dial and external knob can be
used in Class 3 hazardous locations, as
well as certain groups in Class 1 and
Class 2. For less hazardous areas both
ambient and line sensing thermostats are
available housed in standard
watertight, dust tight, tamper-proof,
corrosion-resistant, die-cast enclosures. |

Monitor Light
Dekoron Series 1556 monitor lights, neon
or incandescent, allow continuity monitoring
of Dekoron 2300 and 2700 Series
self-regulating heating elements. Monitor
lights are supplied complete with all
necessary hardware as well as instructions
for installation.
